We have had many requests to host House of Decay, one of the more popular duel maps in QuakeLive it has some serious fast paced action due to the modified teleporters that were added to it. This is a smaller map but ranked as Intermediate. It was originally released with the Q3 Dreamcast Edition in October of 2000.

This event starts at 20:00 CDT with check-in starting at 19:00 CDT. We will not be increasing the brackets anymore due to players being in school and/or working in the AM. The wait listed players will be able to check in 15 min prior to closing.

I would prefer to see all matches played on private servers with passwords in order to not have any disruptions! Hope to see you all sign up!

Ladies and gentlemen, it has been over a decade since the release of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. The game that has inspired us all, the game that spawned Enemy Territory. The time has come to return one last time and fight for glory.

With this cup we want to give the game the celebration it deserves. The aim is to get the old schoolers back for a final blast and show the new kids what a team based game truly is about. Add to that it will be one of the last chances to get your name written in the books of RTCW history!

It is with great proud and honor that we are able to tell you that it is none other than the legendary shoutcaster WarWitch himself that will be taking the stage once more to tell you who killed who and which team is taking home the win.


This cup is open to both North American and European teams. A number of teams have already formed, signed up, or expressed interest in playing. A solution to server location is being worked out to make it best for both European and North American teams.

This (Friday) evening at 14:00 CDT FACEIT will run a test cup to make sure the recent changes we have made are implemented properly and won't cause any problems.

We would like to invite everyone to come and join us to play in the test cup. For the lucky winner, we will distribute $12 which you can use either on the platform, or simply transfer to your bank account.

The rules and such will be the same as last cup. There won't be any streams for the test cups, so to enjoy the entertainment you will have to join the cup. You can sign-up. Make sure you don't miss the check-in, which starts at 13:00 CDT.

Thanks to the support and sponsorship shown from Itsdirect.com.au we have decided to run a small head-to-head video competition. Players of relatively equal skill will go 'mano a mano' in a monthly show case Quakelive video, displaying 3 clips from their personal highlight reels. A poll will be opened in the designated 4sg thread to decide which player has the better talent while destroying the ego of the loser. Second time showing, with again no exception of an excessive ego's are the infamous beat-you-on-lan Shadow, going up against the i-beat-you-on-my-alias ZXKU. Who will be crowned daking of round 2. A video showing a team defrag run by Germany shio, Sweden kiddy and Hungary mccormic. Team defrag isn't very popular and there are only a few servers but it's amazing to watch never the less.

The Russian site www.125fps.com is organizing daily Quake Live cups for CIS players, which culminate in a final tournament at the end of the month. There, the 8 players that accumulated the most points during the month will battle it out in a double elimination bracket.

After a very successful first FACEIT Quake Live Sunday Cup, we are ready to continue with our second one this Sunday. As in previous tournaments we will start at 08:00 CDT again, with the stream starting at around 08:30 CDT. 128 players will be allowed to enter the tournament. Check-ins open at 07:00 CDT.

Over the next few days more people will get access to the site again so they can also sign up for the tournament. We do want to remind you that the site is still in beta phase, so if you find any bugs, please use the drop down menu in the right top and click "Support".

Over the next three weeks we will have a new map pool, due to the upcoming Adroits Cup. As a lot of the pros will be practicing for this competition, we want to give them a good place to prepare, with the maps they will be using at the LAN tournament. The other rules will be the same as always.


Quake legend Sweden Pelle "fazz" Söderman will be casting alongside United Kingdom Xavier "Zoot" Dhorne live from our studio this week. We will be looking to bring you an even smoother and better show and build on from our experience in our first cup.
