alborz showed me the way that the good old microsoft mouse works again with 500hz on windows 10

http://www.filedropper.com/mouse_5

unrar the file and place the folder Mouse in C:\ so its becomes C:\Mouse

open CMD with admin rights

then type: cd C:\mouse\main

hit enter

then type: atsiv.exe -f hidusbfp.sys

hit enter

open Setup under: C:\Mouse\extras

put filter on device, 500hz, install service and restart

test with mouserate.exe

mouse should work on 500hz now

(only downfall is that you have to do this once everytime you restarted your computer, other than that it works perfect)

The popular QuakeWorld server software package nQuakesv has had its bundled versions of QuakeWorld server software updated. The included server software is now MVDSV v0.32 as well as server mod KTX v1.38.

This update is a delayed one as new MVDSV and KTX versions were released at end of June earlier this year and as it kind of escaped the news i thought it's definitely worth a mention. The changelogs bring us a bunch of interesting changes such as:

Bots support in KTX, i.e. can now have bots on standard online servers (they were pretty much only localhost before)
Web server integration for reporting match results (some servers do this to Badplace.eu under servers tab)
Smoother teleports on high ping (making the classic Aerowalk teleporter jump work like on localhost)
Bigger maps support (BSP2/BSP29a format)
Support for racing at the same time in Race mode
Etc...

Hey everyone! We had a lot of interest from players in our

AU/NZ community to throw up something longer than our usual one day competitions. As such we've decided to do a 16 player Duel league featuring a lot of international competitors such as Corvidae's Dandaking and Steej, Cooked Esports ZenAku and Dirtbox. We've also had new interest from Australian team Avant Garde's new roster Lure and Crunchy. It's always been hard with our geographical distance to attend every international event but we hope that true Quake fans can appreciate what we are doing and support us in our contest.

I've put together photo cards for everyone to meet all the players over on our instagram and I've also spamming twitter a lot more lately too. Even contributing on Socials goes a long way for us <3

Streaming will happen on our Twitch with VOD's going up on our youtube.

Quake Champions Duel LAN will be held in

Moscow as a part of FCS Cup 2018! The bad news that's only for the players from Moscow and Moscow region.

Qualifications will start on 13 of October. The finals are going to be played in the e-sports field Cyberspace on 10-11 & 17-18 of November 2018.

QuakeWorld kickstarting the new season (10 comments)

As fall of 2018 is approaching it is time to tuck away the sunglasses, rinse off the sun screen and crawl back into the man caves. The QuakeWorld scene is usually quiet during the summer, however things are starting to pick up again with a few different initiatives coming up in the near future.

For the team deathmatch lovers there will be a 4on4 allstars match played on the weekend around 20th October with familiar names such as

Milton,

Bps,

Xantom and

Rikoll putting on a show for spectators to enjoy. There will be streaming arrangements and lots of games played.

For the players more into dueling the 2018 QuakeWorld Duel Showdown might be a better cup of tea. This is a online 1on1 tournament played over four consecutive Sundays from 4th to 25th November. The tournament comes with two divisions based on player's skill levels with separate community funded prize pools for each of them. The map pool consists of dm2, dm4, dm6, aerowalk, ztndm3, bravado and skull.

Another 1on1 opportunity coming up is the 10th edition of the classic Thunderdome 1on1 tournament with its familiar division based setup. The map pool consists of Aerowalk, Bravado, DM4, Monsoon, ZTNDM3, DM2 and DM6.

The sign-ups for

Quake Live TDM 4v4 Fall Season are open from Sunday 16th September 2018 until Sunday 30th of September 2018.

The League start will be Monday 8th of October, duration depends on the sign-ups (1 match per week). Division 1 plays Monday at 19:00 UTC, Division 2 Tuesday at 19:00 UTC, Division 3 Wednesday at 19:00 UTC.

Check below for all needed informations and sign-up! If you already have player and clan account on House of Quake, feel free to sign-up right away. Otherwise make sure to register yourselves and your clan first.
