Hello everyone, 21th November is here so we can start 2v2 cpm advent cup. On tournament page we have 13 teams signed up and we can expect some really good matches. We will try to stream as many as possible on Level Up TV with United Kingdom nvc, Iraq drex and Germany nekon as shoutcasters. Also there will be GTV available.

Because cup is starting tomorrow you can begin scheduling your matches now according to brackets. When scheduled, pm admin date and time of your match so we can set up GTV and stream. Deadline for 1st and 2nd round is 27th November. The last 5th map in the map pool will be double RA & double powerup madness !cpm17tp. GL&HF to all.

As it happens for Starcraft 2 each month it's time to reveal the first ever SK Gaming SK Champions Trophy for Quake Live. 32 players with 28 Invitees and 4 qualified players will be featured in the tournament to battle for 250€ prize money this Sunday, 13:00 CDT.

Featuring 12 out of the 16 DreamHack duel participants so far the tournament will show the condition of players and is going to tell who will be a favorites for Quake Live's major LAN event. For the viewers pleasure the live streams will be available in English and Russian.

The 110th ZOTAC QL Duel Cup is taking place this Sunday 20th of November. Last week saw France strenx defeating Belarus Cypher 3 maps to 2 in the final (Video-t) and claiming his 39th ZOTAC victory!

This ZOTAC will be the last before DreamHack Winter 2011!

The Russian organisation GoodGame is running the Quakelive Best Frag Championship TDM 2x2 on the 19th of November with $375 as cash prize. In addition admins gonna draw 25$ for Best Frag, which one of the participants will made during the Cup! The format used will be Single Elimination Brackets with bo1 matches until the quarter-finals. From the quarter-finals the matches will be played in bo3 mode as the Grand Final.

Once again we are pleased to announce that Level Up TV will be present, on site, this year during DreamHack Winter (24-27 November) to provide official coverage for the Quake Live duel and TDM tournaments.

This is our 5th consecutive DreamHack event after having covered the Winter 2009, Summer 2010, Winter 2010 and Summer 2011 events, therefore we aim to bring you, as always, the best possible coverage.

Poland Ziggy "nVc" Orzeszek and United Kingdom Stuart "Disrepute" Evans will be your dedicated casters for the tournaments. We will try to pair them with various pros as much as we can, and of course United Kingdom James "2GD" Harding might also be jumping on stream whenever he’s available.
On top of that we’d like to welcome our latest addition France Antoine "sharpe" Goeuriot who will be on site with our crew, working on highlights of the day, interviews and much more. You can enjoy his short hype video for our coverage below:


The setup will be pretty much the same as the one used during DreamHack Summer 2011, so be sure to expect a free 60 fps, 720p stream for your viewing pleasure. Twitch.TV is the streaming platform that will be used.

Lastly, we would also like to take this opportunity to announce our new website being launched today. This project has been in the works for quite some time and we’re happy to finally be able to release it. We will be adding content and updates to it as we go along, so we hope you will all enjoy it.

My first movie I managed to release.

While creating this I ignored all current movie fashion with tons of effects, recams, 3D and all that stuff. Instead of this I focused on style, sync and feelings from movie.

All content recorded by myself. All non-game media created by myself. Diplodocus image grabbed from wikipedia :)

I spent about 1.5 months on editing and 3 more weeks on polishing. I collected about 1100 raw moments and reviewed about 400 for this movie. 60 of them fits well.

Tomorrow at 13:30 CDT we will draw the groups for the Duel tournament at DreamHack Winter 2011 LIVE on stream! Tune into Level Up TV at Twitch TV and watch United Kingdom 2GD and Belgium Trance draw the groups.

Started in September, the 2nd DuelMania 1on1 QuakeWorld tournament will see see its Grand Final played Wednesday at 14:00 CDT.

This match will feature the same two players from the WB Final: Norway Rikoll and Sweden bps. With the Norwegian players coming from the WB, this means bps needs to win 2 bo5 sets to claim the victory along with the "imaginary trophy"!

Quakelive duel added to ESL VERSUS (20 comments)

Some of us already knew about it, but now it's official: Quakelive is now on ESL VERSUS. It was first added with TDM 4v4, but after some thinking, it's finally Duel that will be featured for the official launch. Other modes could follow in the next weeks if needed!

So far, the 1v1 map list consists of non-Premium maps (Blood Run, Campgrounds, Furious Heights, House of Decay, Lost World and Vertical Vengeance). Premium maps should be added soon with a better system to handle them!

Note that ESL Wire still isn't compatible with Quakelive.
