I bring to you my personal fourth creation, containing mostly DM17 rocket frags from the last year, This project started just after the release of Fragger's Rock which was created by Cliche. My intention for this project was to have a fast-paced video showcasing mid-air rocket content. Show Projectile is 'on' however the mme effects file I'm using for this has the smoke set at Black and is hard to see on Space Maps.

If you're not one for Space Maps, then don't stream or download and don't bother posting useless negativity, I'm up for constructive criticism that will help future projects.

After completing the JeeSports August Series on Saturday the 27th, where we saw

kRoNic taking the podium, we are pleased to announce the tournaments we'll be hosting during the September Series.

There will be 3 types of cups: Open Duel Cup,Amateur Duel Cup and 2v2.

Showdown Season 3 & DuelMania returns! (2 comments)

DuelMania, the most famous 1on1 duel tournament of QuakeWorld has returned. It is a collaboration from the admins of Ownage, Duelmania and dopeskillz. So this has all the spices to make it once again a great success. Earlier tournaments has even had 100+ duel players participating! The tournament is officially known as DuelMania Reloaded part 2 now.

Season start is scheduled to the September the 19th! So go and sign up if you haven't done it yet! Sign-ups will close the 18th! The maps are familiar ones, DM2, DM4, DM6, Aerowalk and Ztndm3.

The Quakeworld scene can proudly present Showdown season 3 starting very soon. The sign-ups ends September the 3rd! Showdown has been the most active duel tournament during the last years and has offered some dramatic games. Now it's time to continue fragging!

It's the time of the year when QuakeWorld players starts polishing their rocket launchers to compete in 4on4 TDM. It's already season 14 and there has been lots of great games played during these seasons and years. This time there has been some slight changes considering the fall season. Usually it has been TB3 + 2 Kenya maps (slang for non ID maps) during the fall. This season will be TB3 only because of lack of knowledge on how the new maps created during spring and summer will play/work. (TB3 = The Big/Best 3 = E1M2, DM2, DM3)

Sign-ups ends on the 11th of September during the night!

So if you haven't yet realized that the season is just coming up, then it's time to do it now!

The 100th edition of the ZOTAC Quake Live Cup is planned for the 11th September of 2011. For that special occasion, the cup will get additional hardware prizes from ZOTAC and Cooler Master. Of course, the usual 100€ also remains! The top3 players will be rewarded with the following prizes:

EQL is getting closer and closer, but we also talk about some newbie friendly stuff, like some fun beginner stratregies in mix/public 4on4 games :) (We also talk about DM - duelmania - a little bit, which has been dormant for years, but is now starting up again)

Cara is a really good 4on4 player now. He took a big break from quake and is now back.

Horatio has been around forever, and spends a lot of time helping the scene by running the EQL and trying to make everyone happy, which as we all know is so ez (not) :)

There's also a sweet intro thingy I made. Thanks to DDE ghosts as well as bps and Matuka for letting me use their stuff.

The seventeenth qualifier for the JeeSports Quakelive August 2011 Championship Series will be played Thursday 25th of August at 13:00 CDT. The check-in starts 30min before.

This is the last opportunity for players to qualify to Saturday's JeeSports Invitational! When the tournament closes, we will announce the 16 players who will be invited to compete for money from the 160€ prize pool. The invitational tournament will be streamed on HoQ TV.

QLPrism is short for "Quake Live + Prism." This is a web application-style launcher for Quake Live. Rather than loading up your web browser, you can simply double click the QLPrism icon on your desktop to directly launch Quake Live. Most of you probably know that this package combines Quake Live and Mozilla (the creators of Firefox) Lab's Prism, which is an application that lets users split web applications out of their browser and run them directly on their desktop. Other than an actual single standalone .exe (i.e. QL Offline Client) this is probably the closest thing to QL "stand-alone."

The whole point of QLPrism is to provide you with a bundled QL + Prism package that is ready to go with a simple double click. This is a great alternative for those who have been recently having problems running Quake Live in other browsers, especially Google Chrome. This also allows manual URL input for QuakeLive URLs (for pickup games), and comes with a few useful Greasemonkey scripts such as wn's Alternative Server Browser pre-installed.

Duel Summer cup I (14 comments)

This Wednesday will see another ESL QL Summer Cup, but it won't be focused on team play! This cup will feature Duel over a Double Brackets with bo3 games in WB and bo1 in LB. Once again, the matches should start at 13:00 CDT. And if the cup is running too late, the finals could be delayed to another day.

The maps will be Aerowalk, Blood Run, Furious Heights, Hektik, Lost World, Toxicity, Vertical Vengeance. There will be only one division and the cup will be limited to 32 players. Also, all players must record demos (cg_autoAction 3)!
