Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Sc00t about Prizes in QL Tournaments (50 comments)
Posted by avec @ 12:30 CDT, 27 June 2011 - iMsg
LowLandLions player Netherlands Sc00t has posted his second column on PlayQuake.

This time the subject concerns the payout of prizes in Quake Live. Do the players get what they are owed, who pays up and who doesn't. Here is an excerpt:
Many people heard stories about the CPL not paying out their prizes of the World Tour. It happens more often than I think the spectators do know of, so this article will be about prizes that I have won and how long passed until I received the prize.

Check out of the full column at PlayQuake.com.

Re: ESWC and IEM drop Quakelive (No comments)
Posted by aRidion @ 10:21 CDT, 27 June 2011 - iMsg
although it surely is sad to see this development....it is not completly surprising.

When Dreamhack was streaming different games at the same time, other games had more spectators.

While this is not the only indicator of course, I think (fear) that many games will have a larger playerbase.

The quake scene is basically the same for a decade with some top players leaving and some newer ones taking those spots, but there is nothing to see that couldnt be seen in 2004 aswell...

From a business point of view and, lats face it, thats what those companies are about after all, it makes totally sense to take some younger and (at the moment) popular games....

This time the event is powered by AlienwareArena and looks to become as much of a success as the previous edition.

Quakelive at Lille Arena (50 comments)
Posted by xou @ 19:09 CDT, 20 June 2011 - iMsg
The Lille Arena will take place in France Lille from the 1st to the 3rd of July and should see the finals of the French "Masters" circuit, a poker tournament and of course a traditional BYOC LAN party with its video games tournaments.

One of them will be a qlQuakelive Duel tournament and should feature hardware prizes to be announced. The rules and layout should be similar to the ones used during DreamHack Summer 2011. A few TDM & CTF exhibition matches are also planned.

More informations should follow as soon as the prizes are announced! CRT monitors can be rented during the event for 30€ and the entry fee is about the same price (or 25€ before the 24th of June).
