Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Schedule: Passed

The Cyber Sports Network Everyone Must Die duel group stages are over, and the final single-elimination bracket begins this Sunday, 19:00 CDT, 5 June 2011! The group stages ended with some surprising results. Canada Sparks took down United States of America ZeRo4 to take first place in group A. Sparks is surely happy about this because now he can avoid United States of America rapha's half the bracket entirely while ZeRo4 has to play rapha in the quarterfinals. United States of America dkt, taken out in the group stage by up up-and-coming duelist United States of America ziel, did not advance to the finals. And after a three-way tie in Group B, the matches were replayed, eliminating dark-horse United States of America Mongo in favor of Quake 3 legend United States of America czm and the ever unpredictable United States of America walter. Check out the Brackets, Schedule and don't forget to tune into our TwitchTV for the remaining matches.

Legie leaves Quake scene (78 comments)
Posted by wision @ 11:19 CDT, 7 June 2011 - iMsg
Dear quakers, we have the unpleasant duty to inform you about the retirement of one of the European Quake scene personalities, Czech Republic Ondrej "Legie" Konecny.

He began his career as a Quake 3 dueler, gathering a lot of experience that got applied in the local LAN parties in duel and TDM as well. He was a member of clan Czech Republic Nemesis and played ClanBase leagues every year, and also of the Russian CTF clan Russia magic, where he collected flags for couple of years. In 2009 he appeared at the ESWC Masters of Paris, where he played with top 16 players in the world. The invitation was given to him for his activity around the Czech quake scene. In Quakelive he played for clan Czech Republic HTF and managed to win the OpenCup CTF Spring 2010 Div2.

In the past on his own project QuakeQuickCup, he organized and hosted a lot of Quake 3 Nations cups which had extraordinary ratings and helped to revive the Quake 3 TDM scene. The main success of the tournament was great participation from the Euro teams, the GTVs and quick match reports with demos and screenshots. He also organized numerous Q3 duel tournaments, and now he is the head admin of the weekly ZOTAC tournament which you might know for its stable periodicity. Last Sunday we saw the 86th edition.

He said his decision was not easy, but he is currently quite busy with playing the trumpet professionally. His Jazz quintet and ska band fills up all his time and that's the reason why he is forced to cease all his Quake activities. He also added, that he is finishing University and starting September he is going to study Higher Secondary School with a focus on jazz.

Let's wish him all the best and that he has as much fun playing his trumpet, like he had with quake.

DerQuaker Interview with Av3k the boss (235 comments)
Posted by moppz @ 13:25 CDT, 6 June 2011 - iMsg
The german DerQuaker.com Team asked Serious Gaming superstar Poland Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski about Dreamhack, toxjq's comeback, his life and superpowers. Here is a snippet:
You are in a good shape right now, but who will win the Dreamhack in your opinion?

I will try hard to win of course, but in the last 2 years I lost many events in Quake scene. Nowadays I am trying to catch up because I realized some time ago that I really miss the times of winning tournaments. It`s such a feeling that u will remember till your last days, so my dream is to win some tournaments again. Hard work is waiting for me but I’m looking forward to that.
Definitely check out the full interview or you will miss out on his interesting answer and a pretty epic picture!

Playquake - New pickup and other bits :) (19 comments)
Posted by Q50 @ 17:11 CDT, 5 June 2011 - iMsg
We just wanted to inform all esreality users that a new pickup channel has started about 2-3 days ago and is already starting to take off nicely.

The intention of the channel first and foremost is to bring the community together, not just tdm'ers, not just ctf'ers but both both equally. While the pickup section of this channel is just the beginning, with planned drafts and even complete leagues in both TDM and CTF planned for the near future (we are currently getting admins/staff for this as we speak).

Here are a few details which will make this pickup different than others.

* There will be big parts of the website dedicated to the pickup channel with various statistics and other interesting bits including the likely possibility of columns for the more "vocal" characters in there.

* There will be clear/easy to follow guides written describing each role on popular pickup maps (complete with screenshots to help describe situations) to help newer quakers learn things that otherwise isn't easy to.

* There is also going to be a section of the website dedicated into helping/encouraging currently unclanned playquake pickup players to actually form clans for the first time so that they can then participate in leagues. A stage which imo right now seems a huge stumbling block.

* While its obviously chaotic just as its starting out, it'll without doubt be adminned very sensibly with the best interests of the quakers who play in it. People having a bit of fun and a joke is of course fine but excessive trolling will be stamped out quickly and permanently, rather than just with temp bans.

* We also have a jazbot ( yes, really! check out the channel if you don't believe me :)). Its still in early stages but progressing very nicely now :)

I've always maintained and often said that if quakelive is to really grow much bigger, then the focus has to be on the up and coming quakers who are still full of enthusiasm and genuinely enjoy playing. The clear focus of all of this is to try to bring the community together and that is very much the vision which people involved with playquake all share.

IRC channel #playquake - Please feel free to join up and idle here :)
