The Challenge Promode community will be hosting two
King of the Hill events on
Saturday November 26, 2016, which will cater to European, and North American players.
King of the Hill events are pretty straight forward: Players show-up on match day, and register, and once the event begin, registered players will be filtered into a queue. The event will begin with the two weakest players dueling in a BO1, The winner of which continues to play all challengers until they lose, at which point they will placed at the end of the player queue. Basically winner stays on. Challengers get to select the map, and the entire event will occur on a single server. Yes, you can play in both events ;)
• The first cup will be a
European King of the Hill tournament, which will begin at
12:00 CDT.
• The second cup be a
North American King of the Hill tournament, which will begin at
18:00 CDT.
To register, all you have to do is join the
CPMA Discord on the day of the event and ask
xero (me) to be add you to the queue. Remember to tell me which region you're from! Once confirmed, you will be given an appropriate
Discord Role, which will identify you as a competitor in the event.
The events will streamed live via
dr0_vision, with resident Promode expert
black, co-casting the European event.

• We had a total of 16 players participate.
• A total of nine countries were represented.
• Players battled on 15 different arenas.
• DEZ had a win-streak of eight maps, including notable victories over

• Kwong-Lo had a win-streak of nine maps, including notable victories over 
myT, naper, and 
Terifire.

Participation: To participate in this tournament, players must join the CPMA Discord and notify xero that you like to participate.
Map Selection: In the very first duel of each event, players will flip a coin (callvote random 2h/t), and the winner will choose map. In all subsequent games, the challenger will select the map. Challengers cannot select any of the three (3) previously played maps.
Match Start: Player must play their matching within ten (10) minutes of games being assigned.
Matches Details: Players must take an end of game screenshot, and a complete demos of all their games. Players can use cg_autoaction 7 to have a demo, and screenshot be automatically recorded by the game. Players must be able to provide demos of their games upon request.
Nick: Your nick on sign-up list should be the one you use on Discord, and in-game. No fakenicks allowed!
Behaviour: Be nice to one another. Excessively flaming other players, spectators, casters, admins or referees will lead to disqualification.
Cheating: Any, and all forms of cheating, or assistance will lead to disqualification.
* Anything not explicitly covered by the above rules will be up to the volition of the admins.
