Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Freestyle trickjumping on Q2DM1.

I’ve always desired to produce a compilation video of some of the best tricks on the map, there is a lot of never-before-seen tricks and variations as well.

The idea for the level design comes from “The Broken Edge” remake, which was created by DIRTY & DeAdLy[BITCH]es a long time ago. That map has then been heavily modified by ZEROSIGNAL for the purposes of this project. Combined with atmospheric music and a cinematic intro, this version of The Edge is a breath of fresh air in a game that celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Special thanks to ZEROSIGNAL and Draxi for their help and support.

UNOFFICIAL DOOM 3 1vs1 TOURNAMENT AND TEAM DEATHMATCH EVENT (2 comments)
Posted by DOOM3 Ercalidas @ 16:19 CST, 27 January 2022 - iMsg
Ladies & gentlemen, I’m proud to present you what will be the guidelines / rules for an upcoming just4fun (or eventually with a prize pool) tournament on… Doom 3!. Yes, you heard it well, Doom 3 classic multiplayer is back!. Since I started playing D3 multiplayer when it was basically already dead (in 2018 if I’m right), the interest for this game took over so I’ve decided to make a turning point. After all these years of silence, what I simply thought was "I need to do something to bring back life to this game’ so here I am!. I've already spreaded the news among the last “active” players with no very promising results BUT I'm trying to get the attention of some important old school player of D3 and now I have a collaboration with some eXg clan members that are helping me a lot with this project and they are also still active & cool players. I think that D3 multiplayer was and still is an underrated yet very exciting experience that needs to be shown to the new generation of fps players.

IMPORTANT: I've done my best to be as detailed as I can, sorry for my bad english. Maybe the rules will need some editing or fixing but as long as I’m alone I can’t do too much or cover all the essential things that a respectable tournament should have. I will be more clear if you decide to contact me. I'm open to any kind of advice or tips.

Now, enough with talking!. All you need to know is in the links below. You can contact the fool behind all this at: frttempolibero96@hotmail.com or simply add me on Steam (My Friend Code is: 857460537)

One special thanks to 5M1L3Z, HavoK!, Henry Sellers, Bonehead and pointb|anK for supporting me with this idea and of course to all of you that will be seriously interested in making this tournament possibile!

Paul "astz" McGarrity passed away (36 comments)

Dear ESR Users,

I'm really saddened to let you know that ScotlandPaul "astz" McGarrity passed away last night.

Most of us knew Paul as a true artisan and member of the UT2004 community. He was a true friend for this community and was a competitive professional player on UT2004. He also played QuakeLive in the early days of the game for team dignitas.
Paul was also a kind and funny guy to spend time with, and a great father for his 3 kids.

I had the pleasure to meet him during a LAN tournament he organised in Dundee, in 2011 (he did the full coverage of the tournament on ESR). I remember having a blast meeting for the first time UT Legends such as ScrMz, Frantic, ecko and of course Paul.

May you rest in peace UT Legend, you will be missed.

czm solves subconvexity problem, related to Riemann hyp. (38 comments)
Posted by son1dow @ 18:23 CST, 13 January 2022 - iMsg
United States of America Paul 'czm' Nelson, Quake legend, CPL and QuakeCon champion has solved the subconvexity problem, a problem two steps removed from the Riemann hypothesis. The Riemann hypothesis is one of the most important unsolved problems in pure mathematics and if solved, would help us know more about prime numbers, which are important in all manner of areas including basic cryptography.

In a paper posted in September, Paul Nelson of the Institute for Advanced Study has solved the subconvexity problem, a kind of lighter-weight version of Riemann’s question. The proof is a significant achievement on its own and teases the possibility that even greater discoveries related to prime numbers may be in store.

“It’s a bit of a far-fetched dream, but you could hyper-optimistically hope that maybe we get some insight in how the [Riemann hypothesis] works by working on problems like this,” Nelson said.

He wrote two papers, one in 2020 and one in September of last year that put together solved the subconvexity problem.

Cyberfrags is a super-fast arena/movement shooter, with loads of guns and lots of ways to move REALLY fast. Since the CF community is still small there aren't many servers floating around, so feel free to hop into the discord and we'll double-jump into a game with you!

Movement-wise its a mix between Quake & Titanfall, but faster. ( including Walljumps.)

CS:GO: My Crosshair Guide (1 comment)
Posted by @ 18:34 CST, 2 January 2022 - iMsg
This guide is geared toward analyzing the components of a CS:GO crosshair, based on what some of the pros use.

Take for example, the shape of an average crosshair. Usually, you'll see 4 ends pointing outward and inward at the same time, in the shape of a T. But have you ever wondered why the t shape is so commonly used over another shape, such as a circle?

For starters, all 4 ends of the crosshair, as I mentioned before, seem to be pointing inward, thereby gravitating your attention towards the center (it's also why you might see a small gap in the middle of the crosshair). This in turn, helps you focus on centering your shots, such as a headshot.

My guess is that our minds seem to pay more attention to patterns or consistency (such as the ends pointing inward toward one direction) rather than something a bit more random (such as the same ends also pointing outward in 4 different directions). Nevertheless, this crosshair also provides a boundary of some sort by covering all directions (left right up down) given it's natural shape (or t).

There's nothing wrong with a dot crosshair though; in fact it probably provides the highest degree of parallelism with respect to your opponent's head, given it's natural shape. My main concern however (as I used to use one) is visibility and direction, meaning the dot is just there, but it does not "guide you or shift your focus toward the center, like a t-shape crosshair would. Least, that's the way I see it.

Nevertheless, I respect personal preferences, and this is just a small snippet of some of the crosshair features to look for or think about.

Full article (I wrote) can be found here: Top CS:GO Crosshairs (imo)

Lastly, if you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to share them. Thanks.

Hi all,
I havent made a movie in some 10 years but this year's DFWC was so fantastic I put together some memorable moments and runs.

A few notes:

-This movie is meant as a celebration of the event and a tribute to the brilliant work of the organisers, mappers, streamers, donators and of course the runners. My respect and thank you to everyone involved, it was an amazing event.

-I focused on top20 runs and I tried to offer a large variety of runners, a healthy balance of vq3 and cpm. There was twice as much material as I could use so I had to make some hard choices, if you are a top20 runner and you did not make it into the movie I hope you understand.

-No Top1 runs. It is an unspoken tradition that movie makers much more skilled than myself eternalise the DFWC with a top1 runs movie. I did not use any of the top1 material for this reason.
