DreamHack is proud to present the broadcasting details and casters for the

DreamHack Winter 2013 Quake Live Tournament. In partnership with FACEIT we're also proud to introduce the DreamArena CampGrounds, where up to 300 fans can watch the matches live on-site.

In the auditorium of Rydbergssalen, just next to DreamArena Extreme we'll build DreamArena Campgrounds - a dedicated arena specifically for Quake Live with the capacity of 300 people. In the arena you will be able to view matches on stage with FACEIT providing professional production together with

zoot and

ddk who will cast the matches. zoot and ddk will provide the coverage of the tournament together with various guest casters. With players from all around the world you can expect great interviews as well!

DreamArena Campgrounds (Rydbergssalen, 300 seats)

All the highlighted group stage matches and important playoff matches will be broadcasted through Twitch.TV in 720p. The twitch channel can be found at twitch.tv/dreamhackql.

To view the games on site will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Book your day pass or event pass through the booking site.

We're currently filling a few unfortunate drop outs from the tournament. Unfortunately

p0ni and

fire_bot can't make it to DreamHack and their spots will be replaced shortly.

"Hi everybody! My name is Aleksey. Beginning with February 2013 I am sponsoring the 125 FPS QuakeLive League (http://125fps.com) and provide almost all of the prize money from my own pocket. Why do I do this? Because like many of us I played the first Quake and even Duke Nukem)) on lan during my childhood. Time goes by and Im a grown-up man now with all the obligations that come along with it. Yet still I want the Quake community to flourish and reward me and all fans of the game with great matches, tournaments, reports etc.
When there are no tournaments with prize money the interest of players and fans decreases and thats what Im trying to combat. Im sure Im not the only one. The community has a lot of adult, successful people, as well as many young people who fell in love with the game.
I want to ask the community to help build on the foundation I and the 125fps team have laid and increase the prizes in the coming leagues. Fundraising is nothing new and is employed to collect funds for all kinds of events. Im sure that many of you will be happy to chip in a sum thats admissible for yourselves and even happier to follow the tournament you yourself made a contribution to!
Below are various ways to donate money for prize funds of 125fps.com leagues.
The reputation of the 125fps leagues guarantees for a fair distribution of funds. I myself will continue to contribute about 31500p(~1000$) every month.
I propose the following prize money distribution (31500RUR + donations)

15% of the donations will go towards the organization and coverage of the league, in particular recruitment of streamers.
Additionally I suggest limiting the prize pool of every league by 3500$. If there is more than 2500$ worth of donations the surplus funds get transfered to the next league. The biggest donators will be listed below every leagues prize pool (voluntary).
The fundraising will start with the announcement of the next league."

From Monday to Saturday we have our daily FACEIT Cups with several Duel levels, Clan Arena, CTF and TDM, plus a different Premium Cup on every week day! Remember its the beginning of the month so all accounts reset to 4 free Cups again, so join us in some fun competitive action.

On Saturday we have 3 Premium Cups with higher points prizes. We have decided to switch the Saturday Team event from CA3v3to TDM2v2 for the month of November. These points can be exchanged for prizes, such as Razer gear in the FACEIT Shop.

Sunday will see the Sixth FACEIT Fall Season Sunday Cup. The fifth edition was won by Cypher but not without taking it to a fifth and final map, taking out tox 16-9 in the final. Commentary will be provided on FACEIT TV, with casting by ddk and a guest.
