Do you want to take part in it and compete with players like cypher, cooller, strenx and av3k, then do not hesitate to sign up. This is your one and only chance to qualify!

The International, French and Swedish qualifiers for the

ESL Major Series Season IX will be played on Wednesday 7th of September at 13:00 CDT. See the Scheduled Listings to check when the other national qualifiers are played.

2 Swedish players, 1 French and 1 European will directly qualify. 2 Swedish players, 2 French and 1 European will get into QR2. And 2 players of each will be put into QR1.

The Team Deathmatch country championiship will kick off next week. So far we have 11 countries ready to participate. An other 6 have a team ready but did not confirm their participation yet and an other 5 are far from being ready.

Check out the original newspost to see the status of your country! Countries who are far from being ready have till tonight to get in touch through the leader boards. If we do not receive anything, they will be removed from the league.

After completing the JeeSports August Series on Saturday the 27th, where we saw

There will be 3 types of cups: Open Duel Cup,Amateur Duel Cup and 2v2.

The 100th edition of the ZOTAC Quake Live Cup is planned for the 11th September of 2011. For that special occasion, the cup will get additional hardware prizes from ZOTAC and Cooler Master. Of course, the usual 100� also remains! The top3 players will be rewarded with the following prizes:

The seventeenth qualifier for the JeeSports Quakelive August 2011 Championship Series will be played Thursday 25th of August at 13:00 CDT. The check-in starts 30min before.

This is the last opportunity for players to qualify to Saturday's JeeSports Invitational! When the tournament closes, we will announce the 16 players who will be invited to compete for money from the 160� prize pool. The invitational tournament will be streamed on HoQ TV.

Rules

Amateur Cups are going to be held in September 2011. In these cups, players will have the opportunity to get coached for an hour by a top level professional player. These tournaments will occur every Wednesday and Thursday, and as well as being able to compete directly for an hour of coaching on Thursday's tournament - players will be able to collect points to qualify to the monthly events where prizes are greater.

Yesterday, the

ESL Major Series Season IX was announced with 8 titles.

Quake Live will be part of this new season, and since IEM dropped Quakelive duel, it now becomes the new mode for EMS. The cash prize will consist of 1 000� for the top3 players.

EMS9 Schedule

The qualifiers should be run on the following model: players will have to go through national cups to be placed in the Qualifiers Rounds, an international cup will be run for countries without national cups. Each country will get a number of players directly qualified and/or placed in the 2 Qualifier Rounds. We will reach a total of 20 players at the end of the process. Also, 4 players will get a direct invitation.
