I recently returned from Louisville, Kentucky, USA where they had the 4th annual Million Man Lan event. The prizes weren't even that interesting (aside from the extremely expensive processors Intel was giving away), but the quality of the player pool was very impressive given that the event itself was not UT exclusive.

Here's some of the pictures I took along the way.

The pictures of the final day (and a bit) of the ACON 5 Grand finals held in Xian, China. The day was spent on a guided tour of Xian including a visit to the Terra Cote Warrior museums and factory workshops.

This gallery shows the last day of E3, as well as a trip to Disneyland, Vegas, and some other areas. I decided to split the galleries into two parts as the list was getting too long, and I was only about halfway done! Enjoy ;)

Though E3 was held in Los Angeles May 18th-20th, in this gallery you will find photos from various places in Los Angeles, Tijuana Mexico, and of course the E3 expo. Some members from girlz 0f destruction and myself decided to stay for 2 weeks and make the most of the trip. It was a great time, and we really crammed in a lot! Enjoy the gallery ;)

The ACON 5 Grand Finals take place from the 3rd - 5th June 2005. Sixteen Counter-Strike teams and Warcraft 3 players qualified for the right to represent their nations at this competition. With large cash and hardware prizes on offer the tournament should be closely contested.

I will, of course, endeavour to update this gallery daily as the tournament progresses.

On Saturday 26th March, Oli and nEo Empire held a Tekken 5 Fighting Legends tournament at HarrowArena (my gaming centre). Here are photos from the day.

The Regroup 13 Lan Event was held last weekend, its one of the best and most professional events we have in Holland. Also not only that its also one of the few events that isn't dominated by CS teams alone.

We held the Acon5 UK Qualifier as part of the GameOn LAN at Uttoxeter Racecourse. Players fought it out through heats of Counter-Strike and Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne to find the best players to represent The UK in China, for the Acon5 finals later this year.

Marcus Graham a.k.a. wheat was the official captain of the US ESWC team. As such, his job was to give out GGL wristbands (GGL sponsored the US team's travel to the event) and take photos. Here is ESWC 2004 - wheat's point of view!

The gallery captures some good times, mostly the social aspect of this wonderful event. And if you want to know what a naked gamer will never forget to take with him at ESWC, surely, you want to visit this gallery!

You could also see Burnie the pimp, socrates the beerguzzling champion and much, much more. And not a single mouse inside those pictures, I swear.

fatal1ty is in Holland again! (Yay, as if we care you would reply). Anyhow the event was a minor succes, only 30/40 people challenged him at the event and only 1 was able to score 1 frag against him. Who this uber-owner is well, he is basicly an unknown gamer called pretorian, so from the e-sports pro scene "well played dude!" (he had the public with him though, they all clapted for him!) The big names that challenged fatal1ty was Fnatic`Sizah, Edit-GoodBye, Fnatic`Memetic, 32nd-core|forever and ofcourse the most important E-Sport gamer of all time and universe me.. [GpW]Ins0mnia..

I went with my close buddy [GpW]Kman to the event in order to just meet him and see how well we are... but funny though we knew we would get owned big time and we knew that he is just one match to high for us. But lets travel 2 hours by train and bus to face him for a 4 min duel on a max frag rate of 6 points. Ole!

A well, after losing 0-6 from him I got this "great" mob flash sticker from a-bit that flashes up when you get called ^^. But still, it's sure a great experiance for me to face one of the best all around FPS gamer on the world.
