This is no ordinary frag movie. This is possibly one of the most visually stunning works of film art that gaming has ever seen.

The movie is a 21 minute epic of 4K.RTCW ingame action as they play against such clans as Infensus, Ocrana & GMPO during Quakecon & numerous other competitions.

Produced by one/jrb from Shaolin Productions (#shaolinproductions Qnet) the movie features many unseen effects, camera angles, and features not seen in RTCW gaming movies before. Previous hits made by jrb include Never Say Never & The 4Kings Trailer.

It's quite a whopper at 596mb but like a Guiness.. good things come to those who?

Germany seiM from clan a-Losers.MSI has released his third Unskilled movie. This one features UT2003 again. This production is one of the best for UT2003 so far and seiM's last for this game. There are some really impressive frags and good editing in it. Just download the 97 MB file and see for yourself.

Here's a little (50Mb) "Making Of Halo 2" movie shot at the X03, microsoft European Event. It's a storyline / graphics presentation of the game.

Note that it's a cam video, shot directly from the presentation screen, nevertheless, it has acceptable quality.

The very famous Quake3 TDM clan, Sweden EYEBALLERS released their very anticipated movie Eye for an Eye today. It was more than a year ago we saw the teaser, and most of us kept waiting and waiting for this movie to see the daylight. A lot of things happened on the way, but it's finally here.

The movie is made by Joka and RoLLeR, and has action from EYE lan perfomance at CPL, Lan Arena 7, the EuroCups, from duel tournaments and much more.

The movie is almost 27 minutes long and has a very large size of 639.9 MB.
I am downloading the movie now and will write a small review when I've seen it.

Nearly nine months after it's predecessor, TDFE2 has been released. Here's a quote from Twisted himself on http://tfde.oztf.com about the contents, since i can't describe it any better ;)

TFDE2 is a QuakeWorld movie showcasing frags, stunts, flag captures and bloopers from the world's best TeamFortress players. Unlike the original TFDE which featured only Australian players, TFDE2 has material from other TF-loving countries such as New Zealand, Finland and Portugal. Not only that but to get inside the head of the players you see, there are even voice communication recordings from real TF matches, as well as some live commentary from Australia's most famous shoutcaster, Joe.
source: http://tfde.oztf.com

It's been captured using a development version of the custom qw client FuhQuake 0.30. That client will be released to the public on monday, so with Eso2 QW 1v1 going on this weekend as well, qw-ers are kinda spoiled with quality stuff these days 8).

The Rabbit Run (or tRR) has finally been released. It's been in the works for the last four years and has finally hit the shelves, so to speak.

What is tRR you say? Well it's a movie of a run through the whole of Quake 1 on the easy skill setting in the amazing time of 10 minutes and 58 seconds. This is a two minutes and fiftysix seconds improvement of the last effort, Quake Done Quick Lite.

The movie was produced by Jozsef Szalontai using his own JoeQuake engine. Joe also made the SDA Promo video and I recommend you check that one out as well.

If you're interested in Quake 1 speedrunning, head over to Speed Demos Archives where all runners involved in this project hang out, or check #qdq on Quakenet.

Some of you may remember him for his wicked air-rockets and tricky grenade-kills in his two previous movies: Smooth Frags and Numbar2. And now he has released a new movie, containing more nice frags and nice editing.

A new movie has been released by Valve to showcase the DirectX 9.0 Effects of their Source engine. The 115 MB movie is probably the most impressive movie from Half-life 2 as of yet, at least graphics wise. It utilizes the self playing Bink video technology. Keep in mind that this is a completely new trailer, it is not from the E3 presentation.

OdB at the Electronic Entertainment Expo has been quite some time in the making, since Benelux' PC Gameplay Gaming magazine held the rights for a few months to the footage. We decided to release our own version, a director's cut so to speak, by popular demand.

Not your typical OdB flick, this movie focusses mostly on Half Life2 (extensive interview with Valve's Gabe Newell with game footage) and Black & White 2 (presentation by Jonty Barnes with exclusive beta footage). Furthermore, there's boothbabes (duh), OdB in L.A., scenes from the E3 venue, some pretty weird lookin' people and BigG eating a chilidog (and out of his nose).

Downloads are available in two formats, courtecy of Fragland (www.fragland.net). Movie page: http://www.odbproductions.com/movie.php?itemid=14

I bet quite a few of you have seen some of Quake Done Quick speedrunning movies, for example Scourge done Slick. Out of the limelight there is a thriving Quake 1 speedrunning community that hangs out at
Speed Demos Archive.

To show you what the speedrunners of today are capable of, Jozsef Szalontai (one of the top speedrunners) has made a promo video with video clips from different runs and tricks made by prominent speedrunners and tricksters.

More movies will be released this fall, so this is just a teaser.
