Hi people, as far as I know, this is the first real UT3 frag movie with real frags and well known high skilled players! I have to say, we had different plans with Rypel for this contest, but we couldn't make them real, so I bring you at least this vid.
Well, I thought UT3 was the perfect engine for moviemaking and it indeed has good potential, but there are still basically no tools except the RypelCam and client-side demos ain't working (even getting footage was kind of problem xD). But RCam is luckily the only tool UTer needs to make a movie. The other problem was recording footage, because once again, there wasn't any "dumpframes" tool. But hey, we have Rypel :>, who coded some sort of dumpframes. One needs uberpc in order to record in HD, because it doesn't record at stable FPS.
Welll, I don't have such a PC, so you might find this quality a bit worse than you expected, but I did my best and think that it's not that bad .).
Anyway, creation of this movie took like 2 weeks (I made a log of my progress, because I was curious how much time I was gonna spend on it:) ).
Special thanks go to all people who sent demos and helped me with this project in any way .).

Why there are no in-game sounds in this movie?
- Because there are nearly no sounds in server-side demos
Why are weapon models sometimes visible and sometimes hidden?
- Because weapon models were bugged that time I was recording, so I decided to hide those, which were not displayed properly.
I can't see video in mp4 version, just sound.

This trailer presents the second production of Polish movie maker Conm. After unexpected success of his first project - Evil Inside - he decided to make a movie including top ten frags and actions from one of the Polish Quake 2 cups.
You may ask: "What's the point of making a trailer for a few minutes long movie?". Well, the trailer shows only short fragments of these great actions. You see someone in the air, but you can't predict what happens next. We have three players who are going to attack bottom RL on The Edge but you don't know if they will succeed or whether a player from the other team will kill them with a hand grenade. You must check it on your own! Moreover Conm will include some "funny moments" in the movie. It should be released before holiday.

I made this movie about a year ago, with material I had saved on my drive for two more years. Was mainly meant for my teammates so I never got around to actually uploading it somewhere.
Just watched it again a few days ago and figured I might as well release it to the public, cause who knows maybe some people will enjoy it :)

I've released my new Quake 3: Arena frag movie entitled "DOMINATION." This movie contains stunning frags made by yours truly over the last 1 and 1/2 years in multiple modes of CPMA VQ3 and Promode. The focus is more on the frags than editing effects.
In game sounds compliment the frags. The framerate sits at a comfortable 45FPS throughout the movie. WMV V9 is the codec used, this is so you can still look at a great picture without having to worry if your low end computer can handle the movie or not.
Legie made a little movie for you. It is called Fragged by Legie 2, because it is the second movie he did. This time, Termi was creating this video and I must say that he did a really good job that lets you feel the rockets.
You will see some cool frags from TDM and DUEL coloured by nice selected music. All the action is packed into nice 8 minutes of decent Quake 3 skill.
Quake 3 tricking team Event Horizon, which focuses on doing team tricks has released their third movie featuring both single and team tricks. For the first time Team Event Horizon decided that it was time to put some single tricks in their movie after numerous requests.
At Quakecon 2007 a beta premiere of Event Horizon 3 was released and since then the film has gotten some tweaks here and there, more tricks, longer length and 4 different audio tracks.
Demos were recorded online, which is why some tricks are choppy.
Important: Use a video player that supports multiple audio tracks or you will hear 4 audio tracks on top of each other. Media player VLC is included for those that have issues playing the video.
