They can even turn it on and off but you begin to wonder, in the crucial moments, they ALWAYS know where the opponent is, they're NEVER surprised, and they hit that crucial rail every god damn time. How can you ever notice that when he press a button i.e "f" the next time he crosses the enemy it will aim him?

guess it depends how they use it, if they're good at it it's next to impossible. Altho you can see if someone's just doing retarded sweeping motion overshooting the enemy model every time yet somehow landing shots, or if he's actually aiming. Since the crosshair of people who actually aim tend to end up close or on target. We had a guy just like that in ra3, he was pretty obvious tho.
