My routing sure sucks. I drop more packets just from Louisiana to Chicago. It's frustrating, very frustrating. It's probably just my location, I'm surrounded by other cable internet customers that all have either streaming HD on the same lines, On Demand going, or Bit Torrents.

I don't bother dueling anymore, as can be seen by my quakelive profile. I'll hop in FFA from time to time, and just get very frustrated with the amount of nerfing I get from having such a shitty connection, and that when my ping is only 50-70 (as low as mine ever gets these days).

Due to this I've been usually alias'ing, since I was getting harrassed by nubs, ala the no-names posting demos of beating Cypher on his new shitty connection. "Oh, I thought f0cus was supposed to be good" etc.

So, it's random, but they also will move people around to prevent such things.

Midwestern bracket is spaced out so that the top 4 players will end up top 4. Also, Darko (eMg member) currently has best spot in the tournament.

Since I argued the random seeding issue, naturally I play chance second round. Why should I be punished for voicing an opinion? This is business, it's not personal.

Also, Detonator (EG member) plays Walter first round. Previous conversations in #eg show icel0res issue with EG as an organization.

Looking at other brackets, the top players aren't even CLOSE to each other. So, the top players will end up at the end, and not play each other at the beginning.

So, the top players get a proper seed, and the players who have a problem with the seeding or tournament get to play top players either first or second round.

Someone please tell me how this is the right way to seed a tournament?

20 minutes later, seeds were moved around in North Eastern division. So, it's random, then random again? Most seeds stayed, some got moved.

You have randoms playing randoms in 2nd matches, and mid/top players playing other mid/top players 2nd match.

This is anything but random.

I only say this to prevent this sloppy and unknown practice from being performed in the future. It makes zero sense for a tournament to ignore Quakecon results, ESL results, and numerous other tournament results when it comes to seeding. "Random" is not a solution. The seeds should be determined from previous results, and should be done by community members who are not part of an organization, and compete.

Guild Wars PvsP was pretty fun when I briefly played a bit of it.

The cast of you vs Vampire was horrible. You pretty much rushed the entire time on all three maps and then Slasher pipes up with "Oh, Walter is just rushing now, how childish" or something.
