in Dahang's case majority of the time was spent in ctf however, they played lots of scrims, each scrim minimum 3 matches , 3x20=60 min=1 hour per scrim

being a player in the NA scene, i have to say you're very wrong. hardly any of the top NA players alias minus yourself and maybe 1 or 2 others.

Being from the na and knowing these players, I am pretty sure rapha and dahang are not players who like to fake alot..

having played most of them many times, and having seen them play many times, it's pretty easy to pick out their play style. all these players i mentioned have recently been playing each other quite a bit, so there's really no point in aliasing because everyone knows how each other plays.

you've got to understand.. the NA scene is not nearly as big as the EU scene.

I've played with or watched aliased, mortal1, and bertox, and they're above average, but nowhere near griffin or chance. Besides, isn't mortal1 an alias for "pv"?

Most of the aliases you see are probably for mid-high skilled players, or old school players (czm, zero4, fatal1ty, whatever), or maybe even cheaters.

This is why players lie in interviews, because the common fan is hung up on stats and gives them respect for seemingly playing less yet being at the same level. Whether a player has a greater natural or learned ability is irrelevant at pro level since enough time has passed for both to acquire the same skill learning set. OK, applaud the guy who plays Quake for a month and then challenges at pro level, but thats where the praise should stop, because that same player may never win anything in their life.

If you count all of the fake accounts the euros use it probably adds up to 50x - 60x more playtime than the americans. So who has no life here?
