it's amazing how cypher with 73ping got himself into final... but sorry, that was the most boring last game i've ever seen =(

still... ping30 good players can e-z-ly outaim him. i know that accuracy is not all that matters,.. but still =/ these cups are getting boring to watch imo... u know how cypher can play in lan, and seeing him doing that... looks like waste of time, and no fun at all. these cups have spirit of championship, but players are not in the equal conditions... it's fake...

That's why lan is considered the serious business.

I'll start watching more QL when I've got more maps to see besides the 5 they've been using forever (that pretty much goes for any gametype, but especially duel). Yay, one pro beat another on a map that everyone has seen and played a million times. No thanks.

dm6, ztn, hub, t7 + 1-2 new maps.

dm13 and ztn are way too defensive and boring . They are actually fun only in cups IMHO.
dm6 has definetely same flaws but well...it still gives us some nice matches and its pretty fun to play even in publics!

Yes, dm6 is not really a balanced map, and ofc it has its flaw, but still, all time classic ! And the "flow" is very nice when you play this map, i mean, it's good to be able to straf-jump quite a lot and abuse the wall clipping :D. And the RA to bridge RJ or the jumpad to YA rj are awesome :D let's be honest :D. Dm6 is one of the map where aim > "brain", and i like it this way :), we need at least 1 map like that in the mappool :).

T7, good map imo, it feels really new & refreshing. Good "aesthetic" aswell, i like how the map looks, really nice. And it's a quite complex map, i mean, there's a lot of positioning possibilities, and a lot of different routes, you need some "brain" to play it properly. I also like the fact that it's a lot about "hide & seek", cuz of the pillars etc... And it's a balanced map overall, unlike dm6 :D.

T9 could be nice if it wasn't so "tele lame", and if some parts of the map weren't as boring and uninteresting. It's also a bit too spammy for my taste tbh, and it's a remasterised dreamcast map, soz... It can always be better :). I like the textures tho, but i don't like the "architecture", it looks really uninspired.
However i really like the MH room and the stairs and large area around the middle YA, really nice for some LG whoring or well placed rockets :).

dm13 is shit. The only thing i like at dm13 is that there's pretty often some overtimes :), and it's a map where the tension is at like 100% sometimes :). But it's way too tight and boring, and hf trying to rush without being rox spammed hard or trick'ed like a noob :). Boring 2002's map overall :(.

I agree that ztn is more about defense than rushing etc, but tbh, it's one of the best duel map ever. Ofc, pixel rails, tele escape etc can be really frustrating, but still, let's be honest, the map is good overall, pure duel map.

all right apart from the fact that dm6 can be played really smart and that IMHO dm13>ztn :D i just hate that map , everytime i try to play it i totally rage coz i feel bored :S

ofc if you're cooller dm6 can be played smart :D

But overall if you don't get "monster" aim, don't even expect to do a comeback when the opponent has full control xD
That's why when the "pros" play it, if it's not at LAN or with 100% fair pings, then you can almost be sure that the one with the lower ping or with a bit better aim will win :). Why are strenx, k1llsen or cypher so good at dm6 ? Cuz strenx is like shaft monster, k1llsen rail master and cypher has a bit of both i guess :D + speed.
So then skill > smart play at this map, overall, cuz even if you play smart, you have to hit like 80% rail or rush with 50%+ shaft in some unexpected situations :). Dm6 is a lot about traps, item denied, intense rushing at unexpected situations or the complete opposite aka hardcore +back with pixel prediction rail :D
Also, just compare dm6 with t7 for example :D, dm6 is easier to understand and to play, but still really hard to master :) (at very "high" lvl i mean)

Well, maybe ztn doesn't suit your style of play, that's why maybe you have hard time to adapt and then get really bored cuz you can't see yourself playing a completely different game :D
But tbh for dm13, it's not even about "style of play" or whatever, it's just that the map is so 2002's old, and that it has never ever been a real interesting map, it's not even an all times classic :x, just some random id 2002 map with no rail :x

dm6 ye , its really hard to master and pretty easy to learn :D
