Hart is excellent for a young keeper, close in quality to Adler/Neuer and has been by far and away the best keeper in the PL this season (So better than Cech, Reina, VDS).

Buffon was clearly the #1 in the past, but he's not so strong since a couple of years ago. Age doesn't forgive. I rate them #1 Julio Cesar, #2 Casillas... and I'm not even sure Buffon makes #3. Julio Cesar has been really amazing this season.

Cesar has been great, yes, but Buffon started the season really well before his injury and when he eventually returned he was excellent too.

Sadly, Juventus and Italy are extremely weak at the moment.

Hesky and Crouch actually wouldn't be a bad combination. Hesky has never been a goal scorer. He creates the opportunities and Crouch will always be there to claim them

Walcott is an incredibly average player, the dictionary definition of one trick pony. He's fast - woah - what else? He can cross to save his life, struggles to take his man & can't cut inside - a skill which at least both SWP & Lennon posses - Lennon especially, who on his day is as good as anyone. You've also the added bonus of the Spurs link with Lennon / Crouch / Defoe.

I basically agree with Dird's team though if Barry gets fit I'd drop Lennon - Milner is a fantastic player & definitely should start. We've an incredibly inspiring attack (the 3 'other' strikers aside) & our strength especially comes down the wings. We've fantastic attacking full backs & great speed down both flanks. If England are going to aim to outscore teams with attack, attack, attack then they are going to get dismantled by any team with remotely competent defenders and semi-decent attackers. They can't even keep possession of the ball long enough to keep pressure on the opponents.

Firstly, Ferdinand, who is now injured anyway, is easily the most overrated defender in the world. In fact, I very rarely see him make a tackle.

Carragher - too slow, had a very poor season.
Johnson - can't defend.
Terry - poor season as well, but he's really our only hope at centre back.
Cole - can't complain, great player. Shame he's such a cunt.
