this is a short post to let you know that I am working on a streaming version (i.e. a version that works with live matches) of the 2D Demo Viewer.

I manage to create a first prototype that seems to work nicely with a relatively low delay (~2 seconds). You can see a video here:

What is next?

There are various things happening next.

There will be work in making this stable and usable for casters, which will involve some testing. I'd be happy if the TDM community could help, maybe in a week from now.

There will be some artwork needed to make sure we have nice visualization for the Prague TDM pool, probably starting from where Akuma left. If anyone is interested in helping out, I wrote a bunch of articles and some code to help the process (see this and this). Post a reply to this thread to say what map you are attempting.

Finally, we are thinking of using this in conjunction to a particularly crafted spectator bot, that should allow to gather more information. Details will follow if/when things are working.
