Law schools love lit majors. Perhaps if billions of English majors decided to go back and pursue law, we could all collectively sue you for some type of copyright infringement (remember, we are really good at research...we can find SOME piece of similar art or literature) and take your BAFTA. The possibility of such seems slightly ironic to me.
In fact for me it isn't. I'm studying to become a scholar and a moral being not an employee. I am interested in creativity and a colourful life and not in safety and wealth. I've been poor at some point and it didn't leave me any different, so I'm clearly not playing the money game as an engineer or IT guy might. It seems to be common opinion that job security and money are the only thing in today's work life. What if I tell you, you have far less to lose than you think?
Well that's the philosophical outline i follow but what you really want to hear is what I'm going to do when play time is over?
I have a good set of skills, I'm working on gathering a broad life experience and self-confidence that will always find me some place. I have no problem with simple honest work or living of ramen for weeks. Literature is a big part of what I'm concerning myself with but it's not the only thing. My life might get tough at some point but more importantly I'm sure it will be original and never boring.
On an unrelated note this Mouse* gentleman is tremendously good looking, and I'd wager both my mules on him being a cracking sport and splendid ladykiller.
