depends a bit on the region and sometimes place you go.
In most of Germany "grosses Bier" means 0.5l, normal being usually 0,3l
In Bavaria it's often a Mass, i.e. 1l (0.85 l on the Oktoberfes. Cunts)
In Cologne, were the picture is taken, you get Kölsch a type of beerm which is usually served in the glasses seen above. So my guess would be they simply ignored/din't hear the "big" and brought their standrad beer.
From time to time you will find places that ofter beers/glasses that are untypical for the region, so it can happen that you get a Mass in Hamburg, and so on. Usually is writton on a menu or sign or so.
pft, complicated .. here, 'beer' gets you 0,5l (rarely 0,4l when its some special beer or retarded wannabe restaurant) and 'small beer' 0,3l everywhere :p
cantinas sux most of the time, i remember sandwiches that made you literally vomit even at the uni menza, i stopped eating there in 8th grade, where are you exactly? i live in the center of Prague so i have all the luxury i can get in the vicinity :p yummy tank pilsner across the street, rum bar 3 blocks away.. :) they also finally started tapping small/micro brewereris in some pubs around
:D this Prague - Brno mockery is deeply rooted, like this joke: You know what we say about Prague people in Brno? That you are bigheaded cunts. - You know what we say about Brno people in Prague? Nothing at all.
everybody mocks gelsenkirchen. and rightfully so. have you been there?
also: Offenbach - Frankfurt, Hamburg - Bremen, and i believe there's some rivalry between folks in dunkeldeutschland. god knows how their cities are called.
