punkbuster makes the game unplayable for me.. hard disk is overkilled with activity and massive framedrops occur every 5 seconds.. even when playing bots offline

if i turn PB off in a bot match.. miracle -> it works perfectly
i mentioned the problem in the QL forums and it was ignored.. maybe burried under the shitload of newb spam

It is the old "we don't like punkbuster cause it lags" and you get the reply "no it works perfectly for me" from a lot of people. PB has never been good IMO. Internally developed anti-cheat packages is the way to go. Unfortunatly it is expensive and most casual players think PB is great.
