Well guys, this is it. Probably the most hyped up pairing in all of football, Real Madrid vs Barcelona goes into overdrive this month, starting today with the first in a series of four matches between the two.

I have to say, i am more than a bit hyped myself. Both Real and Barca were near unstoppable all season long and i'm really excited to see those two duke it out, in four fucking games, no less.

Mourinho and his lads will be out for blood after that 5-0 thrashing at Camp Nou last year. Barca is probably at her weakest moment in months (and that's saying something, when they still bash the shit out of Shakhtar) with Puyol and Abidal sidelined, and Villa and Pedro in poor scoring form.

Here are my predictions for the games

League: Real Madrid 3 - 2 FC Barcelona
Copa del Rey: FC Barcelona 2 - 1 Real Madrid
Champions League Game 1: Real Madrid 4 - 2 FC Barcelona
Champions League Game 2: FC Barcelona 3 - 1 Real Madrid

Why so many goals? Because Barca is weak in defence lately, though nobody could take full advantage of it yet. And i think Real can, and they will have to play open football like with every other team they played this season, or else Mourinho will hang.
