I do the same grip yo, but I use 24-30 cm/360 and use my arm for large motions.

get the fk / kana/ ec2 / am / kinzu v2 / wmo. they all support the grip if you have medium/medium large hands.

First thing to do is lower your sens! 10cm per 360 is like lightning! And very old school. 25 - 45cm per 360 is the way to go :)

The wrist pivot thing really lets such a high sensitivity be viable, but I am considering lowering it just to change things up. I find that in competitive rhythm games, lowering the speed of arrows and lowering the amount of space they can travel on the screen, or vice versa, can clear up bad habits and leave you better, even if you just switch back later.

Also, my girlfriend uses ~6.5cm/360 and has better aim than me at some things <_<



Are there any mouse pads that work great with all or most of these mice? LOD is rather important to me since I've been using something like a 1mm LOD with my DB3G on my ExactMat for 5 years

What's wrong with your current mouse?

The scroll wheel broke, and the thumb buttons suck. Other than that, I like it a lot. Also I'd like to see what it's like to play without prediction.

Qck works well for me, better than razer alpha speed. I've used wmo, abyssus, kinzuadder, deathadder, Kana and ec2 Evo. I favour wmo and ec2 Evo equally with Kana in a close second. Both ec2 Evo and wmo have very low LOD - especially ec2 Evo.

Does the 4HD mouse pad work with the EC2 well?

I want a mouse pad that works well for both the Savu and EC2 as I'm buying them both for now.

You gotta go to a hardware store and grab them all, the most important factor in choosing a mouse is that how comfortable you feel holding it. A good sensor is worthless in a bricked shell. Sure you can get used to it later on, but all my best mices were the ones i instantly felt comfortable with when grabbed them.

All of the mice you listed has a good sensor, and you can also balance out some of the flaws with config tweaking, not to mention a 10cm/360 sensitivity not necessarily requires a surgical sensor.

Unfortunately the Diamondback 3G is a one a kind shape (almost, i owned 2 of them), not many mice on the market that has an identical shell. Transitioning from an other mouse probably would be much easier, like if you been a WMO used, than we could just say go with the FK or the AM...

Savu arrived. It's a bit awkward. After comparing how I grip it and my DB, I noticed the biggest thing that sticks out is that the DB has an indent that goes in and under the mouse where my ring and pinky finger reside, while the savu sticks out instead. It makes it feel like I can't grip it as well.

But I'm gonna keep using it. I like it a lot more than the g9x and abyssus shape.


It has a very low LOD on my Razer ExactMat. I don't even need to buy a new mouse pad, I just flipped my pad over from the control side to the speed side, which I've never used, and it feels great.

I'll try more later. Unfortunately I can't try them out at a store. I can't find any stores here that have any variety of good mice.



Edit: it feels SO MUCH BETTER than my DB3G on a lower sensitivity though. I tried 15cm on my DB for the last week, but it was pretty meh. Now I'm doing 16.9cm with this Savu and it feels significantly better

I'll get an EC2 next I think.
