No, if you're performing anything that involves opening the shell you're bound to brake those small plastic pieces - glueing them togetheris problematic because they don't have enough surface. I haven't noticed drastic change in mouse feel without those pieces.

Same here, didn't notice anything weird after breaking these little fuckers.

I opened my wmo to fix the left mouse double clicking and broke those bits. Still works fine. I couldn't fix my issue though. There's viedos on youtube showing how to open microswitches to fix it, by straightening out the little metal bit inside them. Unfortunately the wmo has smaller square micro switches that I wasn't able to open up. Time for a new mouse.

Yeah, I broke mine. Used a tool and made a small hole just above it on the shell of the mouse so that it goes through the lip that remains.

And just used the same screws that hold the back portion of the mouse together.

A tip for the next WMOs u will open:
Apply a little bit of wd-40 on those little clips so they unblock easily without breaking.

I always use it and they are still alive

Yeah, it's not quite as bad as I made it sound - as long as you don't get traction on the cable the shell stays mostly static to a degree where you don't have to continuously bother pushing it down.
Comparing my in-tact WMOs to the one I broke though, I at least think the difference is significant. M1/2 are normally in a somewhat elevated position which gives great tactile feedback. Feels kind of flabby with them just resting on the switches on the other hand.

2ShellBonus, do you have pictures of how you managed to fix that shit?

Hardly enough surface for that to get a good seal.

I was hoping other people had attempted a fix already. If there's no comfy solution I guess I'll just deal with it and not bother risking messing the mouse up for that bit more tactility.
