This is not going to happen, compagnies understood very well why they should not give people true total freedom of modding. Because they want to sell games every x or y years, they dont want to create the perfect game or perfect one they already made.
Ever wondered why so many games had INCREDIBLE potiential but in the end were castrated to the ground?
I dont know why you are commenting on a lot of my posts with useless rambling. So i guess you could use the ignore function if my posts anoy you that much.
Problem is you dont annoy me enough to ignore you, but enough to want to reply because you bring a negative vibe that has harmed quake a lot in the past. Ignore quake if it annoys you so much and dont come to esr anymore is my recomendation.
you now realize that most of esports is founded on mods, games that are based on mods of other games and competitive mods of games that would not work as esports otherwise.
some examples just in case: Quake has always been played with OSP/CPMA/Q4MAX etc., CS was originally a mod of HL (which was made using Quake engine), DOTA is a Warcraft mod.
They're fucking it up by placing new maps behind a paywall, haven't they learned from the past and others? You never put maps behind paywall, because you're splitting the community.
