3700x is quite nice considering its power draw, if you have good cooling go for a 3800x so it can boost properly.
the other two are overkill indeed because if anything, zen architechture isnt in its final stage so these flagships wont be flagships anymore in a year but budget super chips. Also keep in mind these platforms are still in beta and you might need a chip from a previous generation to patch the bios.
the 3700x is more or less like an stock i7 7700k with 16 threads.

litterally, won't touch it but clean it out once a year
someone at CCL tried to rob my CPU, they said there wasn't any stock, i said i will have a refund, as there was 2 in stock and the other wasn't sold for another 40 minutes or so
they found the CPU an hour later, and carried on with my order, as far as i can tell
