it wouldn't be that great... try watching the demo with net_clientprediction 200 or 250

net_clientmaxprediction is the command :)

every new demo the same error: "missing 1 pak files from the initial recording" or something like that.
i´ve all pk4s (q4replay) and q4max 071
i never had any problems until the av3k vs purri demos.

q4 and the story of files you need becomes more stupid every day.

maybe you have the wrong version of a particular map. monsoon comes to mind. the final version of it is out now.

maps played are phrantic and galang? (anyway [+] for you because you wanted me to make me feel like someone tries to help me)

i´ve watched > 100 demos and everything was fine.

now i tried the av3k vs purri, scooby vs clock and chao vs scooby demos and everyone failes.

i tried again an old one (kazyma vs winz) and it works.

It doesn't make a difference what maps are being played, the only important thing is what versions of what maps are on the server the games were played on. So his suggestion to look for newer versions of maps you have installed is valid, and I also think his guess that monsoon could be the culprit is solid.

You probably need monsoon. Get q4replay and it will tell you the missing pk4 files. As others as have said, you need all the files on the servers or the demo wont play back. GG raven!

i had a problem playing this demo because of map_l4dm2.pk4. There are 3 versions of the map with the same name, so make sure you have newest release of Monsoon.

pretty good game i guess, at least from chaoticz. scooby clearly didn't have his day, at one moment he missed 4-5 rails in a row. hope he'll still get to the lan-finals.
