Dude.. dm4 was amazing, one of the single weirdest dm4 games I have seen in a long time..
You have to remember that Locktar is renouned for his dm2 play, but traditionally he has pretty much sucked on dm4, now you have this player Locust who has been on the scene for awhile but only really become known recently through his incredible dm4 play and a very nasty shaft.. I would put him top3 in the world on dm4..
Locust was a little nervous, made a few mistakes which took the sting off many of his own attacks on dm4, but it was also the strange style in which Locktar plays that map that put him off too...
Locktar is so +forward BUT at the exact right times, I would even say lucky moments is just defensive enough and it saves him more than once, he even gets an unlikely kill at YA.. but then Lock does some quite stupid unconventional moves on dm4 which I really think made it so hard for Locust to settle.. if you watch Locust you'll see he knows ALL the shots that would hit a typical good player, but Locktar is just always in a different place..
I loved this dm4 game.. it was actually quite funny to see the two most opposite styles ever, clinical (Locust) vs crazy (locktar)
LocKtar is dm2. No, seriously, his aggressive style is just exciting to watch. I've still to see someone else who is low on health/armor but keeps using rocketjumps to chase his opponent even though overtime has just begun.
LocKtar remains one of my absolute top favourite players ever :) The neccessary contradiction to "no points for style". Also one of the nicest people on the interweb, and that in combination is rare to say the least ^^
really great dm4 demo, locktar is so different to the normal good players, his nice predictive lg spamming and the i think it were 2 very unconventional for dm4 rjumps, but well no wonder, with the rjump master :)
very nice and entertaining demo
