did seem a bit more wired, which kind of led to a bunch of stupid moves
but overall it still looks like Vo0, don't think I'd say the same bout the rat games tho:x

why? i haven't watched rat's demos as yet. does he look terribly out of shape? :(

ofc he's still good, he beat pl1. but to me he looked pretty off, got a bit lucky with the spawns as well imo
but that's cpm

he played alot better on cpm1a, which seems to be his map nowdays

It's natural for him to have a trumph card up his sleeve. Master 3a, get really good at one other map.

i watched the games. he did win but that's not the same rat that we all know :( that lovely style he used to have just wasnt there. the way he used to play in his old games.. when he was in form... showed a lot of confidence. in these matches he looked quite hesistant at times, calculating every move before making it. i also noticed a little more of +back and rail, especially in the cpm1a game. of course it works and he controlled the map nicely but overall, it didn't make me go wow.

have you ever played vs pl1?

the guy is very good and rapes most players in this tourney, even tho rat makes him look almost average in these games you have to play with a little caution in pm2 where +back lg is so effective in the hands of a decent player

pl1 played average by himself, look up other demos of him, I was impressed by those but the games versus rat he just majorly choked or something.

yea i do know he's very good. i've watched many pl1 demos as well. i was just talking about the change i noticed in rat's playing.

pl1 can have some insane fragstreakspawnraping sometimes. even against the best players he can spawnrape really good. love his aggressive polish oldskool style.

rat did a lot better on cpm1a, but i think the big thing was pl1 not playing up to his standard. looks like he let his head sink him.

i'm utterly clueless as to how to playback q3 demos is it really easy

Make sure you have CPMA installed. Copy the demo to your 'quake 3\cpma\demos' folder, then just load up CPMA and go to the DEMOS item in the menu and find your demo.
