While probably a decent system you likely couldve gotten a better sound for slightly higher price elsewhere.

Although personally i'd rather spend that much money on a good sennheiser model and still have a ton left over to possibly upgrade my pc =)

Sennheiser headphones are very good. Ask anyone who have tried them properly and loves listening to music and wathing movies with them.

True, but sennheisers in general offer the best combination for gaming + music + movies sound quality wise i think , i find the other 'high-end' headphone brands to be slightly more geared towards music

But for their low range models, which I actually know nothing about, only seen pictures, if you have a friend who has a set of Sennheiser headphones or a headset, and he's very satisfied, and you know of more who are happy with their Sennheiser, shy not go for what you know to be good?

heh, mines "metal/rock/alternative" (deftones, blindside, bloc party, chevelle, korn, metallica, nin, nirvana, tool ) or "drum'n'bass" (limewax, tech itch, evol intent, spl, usual suspects, kryptic minds, eye-d, counter strike) or good progressive, doesnt make them happy as well :)
