So ESWC USA is announced and the problems that have ensued, When esreality is announced as a contributing agency to the selection a thread goes up in the admin forum about it.

I chime in with my recommendation of Fatality & Socrates who should go. Slasher and I debate, hes against fatality going and i'm saying he should.

So the debate moves to irc.

I state to slasher straight off that he is blinded by his patriotism to see his countries short comings at Quake 4, however the debate continues, hes saying player X, Y & Z could on their day beat fatality and that hes not been active enough, blah blah.

So I lay it down:

(@TosspoT) Slasher I will put any amount of money on with you right now, that NO curent active american baring Socrates & Fatality will take 1st 2nd or 3rd at ANY major international event

(@TosspoT) If at that point any American Quake 4 player that is active at the Point of this conversation takes 3rd 2nd or 1st, I will pay you $50

Slasher is thinking about it, ready to take the bet and the bait and redeye is interested too, however MaJunior comes in with this:

A far better idea as I simply hate CPMA with a passion, then we simply had to come up with a T-shirt for Slasher to wear..."I like pop music" came to mind, an ABBA T-shirt was suggested.

The reason I placed this bet was more a reverse pyschology, if he wouldnt take the bet, then by that nature he was conceding that Fatality and Socrates are the best 2 American Quake'rs and thus that should be the invites for ESWC, unfortunately MaJunior made it personal...

It was 11 months ago that I last gaming'ingly bet, it was on fatality then too. He won CPL Summer and Carmac had to write about ET!
