It's pretty much suicide for a game to not care about graphics if it's going to be used in competitive play.
It's much harder for a game to keep spectators attention if the graphics aren't up to par with the latest standards, but I believe WSW doesn't fall into the above category, as it looks pretty damn good.
The only problem I see that could possibly arise is the cel-shaded graphics being hard to follow and interpret, but again, WSW does a very good job keeping it simple, while staying relatively good looking.
i think you are absolutely right and besides: i like the graphics, the gameplay, the movement and everything else of that great (freeware !!) game *thumbsup*
I've come to learn feelings are the most important thing. They should be placed first and foremost. If it feels right to the players and the spectators, it's the right game for pro-gaming.
So how does warsow feel to the pure specs? Warsow ctf sounds interesting to me, maybe someone could post a good demo for us?
yeah, i usually dont go for crazy trick jumps when i 1v1.. i focus more on timing and aim.. i do have a 2v2 ctf demo of me capping the flag on wctf1 in under 10 seconds 5 times, pm me on irc if u want it.. dont want to post another demo here :P
