The Lanwar group hosts professional gaming conventions across America. Since its inception in 1998, Lanwar has hosted over 30 large-scale events for the gaming community. Lanwar holds multiple events each year, seating over 10,000 gamers since 2001.

The WSVG will be organising tournaments in the following games at Lanwar: Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake IV, Warcraft III: Frozen Throne on the PC and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Halo 2, Project Gotham Racing 3 on console. The total prize fund is $110,000.
