You could argue that neither of these two were predicted to be in the upper bracket after the first round, but thanks to a default win over Toxic (fooki) and a brilliant win for garpy over winz, they now meet in the ¼ finals of the upper, rather than lower bracket. Both will be fresh back from WSVG at Dreamhack this week, although how motivated they will both be, remains to be seen.
Of the two players, it is fooki who has the credentials (beating Garpy at Covlan and winning the tournament) but they finished 4th and 5th at WSVG, suggesting there is not much between them, when they are both on form. I still have to give fooki the slight edge, despite an impressive display against fox in the WSVG from Garpy, but if he is at all under-motivated for this game, Garpy will punish him.
