No, I learned to say it from the movie, and the Norwegian subtitles were wrong. Got the correct spelling from the main site later I think it was. There is no I in some of those names even though it sounds like it. If it says something else somewhere official, they've changed it :)
One of the cinema posters had the full name on it, and i've waited a few dozen minutes with it in my line of sight :p
I may even be missing an extra i somewhere.
yea.. kinda weird naming system :P Ashwath is my name. Venkatraman is my grandfather's.. Ramasubramanian is my dad's official name but everyone calls him Ravee which is also my last name for most purposes.
This was during the game vs Python and I was kinda cheering on ashr for this one but it turned out Python was actually good at Quake 4 (THE SWINE!). He's not laughing, just looking at the screen since Python had quite a lot of frags!
:D that was me getting owned by Soc i think. i'm really glad i went to the ESWC. it was a real eye opener for me. just losing those games has made me a better player already and Socrates took the time to explain a lot of things to me after the game. he really is a great guy. all the other guys i met there were really nice too... especially Sujoy, Matrox (behind me in this pic), Zearth, Python to name a few.
I hope you enjoyed the tournament !
Xou, Nimrod and I tried to make it as smooth and enjoyable for the players as possible altough the ESWC setup would not always be so confortable for them (all the noise, playing on stage, etc...)
Hopefully, all players behaved very well and were comprehensible :)
hey yea.. for sure. it was awesome playing there. you guys did a great job :) it was nice meeting you as well. the whole atmosphere was pretty chilled. even though it was my first tournament, i wasn't as nervous as i expected to be. overall it was a lot of fun. thanks.
/me hugs, so adorable :D
