They didnt really play well against Japan, Japan got the lead and Brazil got a "cheap" equaliser which resulted in Japan needing a 3-1 win to advance. Which left their defence quite open......

rofl, you are stupid and clueless. it's not because they scored 4 times that they played well, they scored 3 against Ghana and they played shit like in the other games. against Japan they weren't making wrong passes and the game was flowing much better specially because of the substitute players, gilberto cicinho and robinho.

Japan were missing Miyamoto who had managed to keep the Japanese team tight in all the other games (Bar the last 5 minutes or whatever vs Australia). The first Brazilian goal did mean that Japan became stretched as they had to score another two to qualify, Japanese lost stamina (something they didn't seem to have in this tournament) and Brazil were only then capable of breaking down the Japanese team.

Take it easy tard. Japan had to press forward which led to open space for Brazil infront of the Japan´s penalty box. Which is a space best suited for Brazil. Sure they played decently for a normal team, but for world champions they played horribly. Japan and Ghana really showed how much Brazil´s defence is lacking. Also just for future references, dont use a game where teams are in two completely different positions as a judgement on how the team plays. Japan had nothing to lose in that game, they had to win and by big numbers AND hope for good results in the other group game. While Brazil had nothing to lose and had won the group no matter how their game against Japan went. If you cant accoung for that then maybe you shouldnt be calling other people stupid.

roberto carlos was quite good imo, he put alot of effort in this game. i just wonder why the brazilian players didnt wake up in the end, they started to rush with like 5mins to go while they knew the score for more than half an hour already?
