diets change with the weather. in 10 years someone's gonna say macrobiotics is unhealthy or a high-carb diet is the way to go, then in 10 years you should cut down on the carbs again... apparently, not a single person knows what diets really work.
sitting on your ass 24/7 will make you weak whatever you eat.
getting exercise will prohibit muscle decay, bone decay and increase circulation.
if being stronger, have more stamina, and keeping the ticker ticking isn't healthy, i don't know what is.
i didn't read all that shit. obviously you counter the average american "deep fried anything" with extreme diet and think it's healthy. other people eat proper food, you know.
what i do know is that there are a lot of people being brainwashed by this diet and that and never eating good food, punishing themselves and feeling bad when they eat a gummy bear. that's just bullshit.
there are a billion people that tried the 'counting calories' diets and found it didn't work, feeling dizzy and weak all the while.
what i wanted to get at was that you don't have to eat cartloads of fibre, cut your carbs in half or never drink a soda in your life to not be unhealthy. eat chicken, fish, roast beef, liver, pasta, rice, potatoes, veggies, fruit, juice - well rounded meals - and even soda and candy sometimes.
i eat all that and went from 230lbs to 175 in a couple months because I started getting some exercise. now i'm gonna eat an orange ("ooh, sugar") and two sandwiches ("ooh, carbs!") and a glass of soda.
proper exercise is exercising until you get a sweat patch on your t-shirt
if you want to know if you exercised hard enough to build muscles the day before, it's easy. if your muscles ache or you are stiff, your muscles got bigger yesterday.
