downloading, looks promising but i'm really missing the time when fragmovies > trickmovies in terms of quantity :-/

edit: decent vid, as the matter of fact this could be even a keeper for me but unfortunately no ingame sound and really bad choice of soundtrack (twang, twang, twang) ruined the whole positive feeling (from my point of view of course)
good content, nice editing in general - liked the camera work; lots of diversity, i've noticed synchro here and there..
creativity was so so, could be wrong on this but first track (or maybe second?) used before in Fight 4 the flag (although this is a remix right ?), cams were creative in places but besides that I didn't saw anything out of the ordinary, nothing really sticked out like a sore thumb
quality was nearly flawless but with that x264 lossless codec this is common these days
if you're a defrag fan download tobu, otherwise you better reconsider it

the problem is that it isn't easy to collect good frags. accumulating enough for a frag movie of decent length can take months. for a trickvideo, the jumper can keep trying the same trick over and over again. if he's skliled and innovative enough, he's gonna land it sooner or later. it seems like there are quite a few guys who are able to do this atm. for frags, no matter how skilled you are a lot depends on the situation and some luck as well. i guess this is the reason.

unless of course you play ra3 for video frags :P

I don't think good frags are such a problem it's more like with the lack of q3 leagues that non-public/non-pro6 frags are rare these days :} One could probably do a half-decent vid with pro6 public runs in a few days but that would be super boring/pointless.

yea but I don't see the point of those "non-public" frags
good frag is always a good frag, doesn't really matter where it was "captured"
but I agree that dm6 is a major problem (even cpm3 in cpma isn't that popular)

I mostly agree with you ashr but I thought that content could be a major issue for others, not for shaolin people. Imagine Fei and Robo-Kill announcement "The famous Quake 3 Arena frag series will continue with Get Quaked 4". I guess they would grab quality stuff as soon as they give e-mail adress...

it is true that when you've made a few 'hits' you get a lot of content quickly but it doesn't necessarily mean that the demos you get have to be top quality. i know for a fact that get quaked 3 did get a lot of poor frags, stuff which would probably never make it into any movie, leave alone a well known title. :) the worst thing is, the more bs demos you get, the longer it takes to sort through them of course. however, when you're done you are usually left with some nice content.

That film is so unlucky that it had its premiere just hours before unity.
