Don’t watch Poseidon! This movie was painful to watch as it is a stereotypical action movie, BUT it's set in a capsized boat!?!?!? Anyways this guy is your typical action star and says things in a gruff voice and could make any line sound cool.
It is stereotypical, the basic story has been looped so many times. Main character survives with his love interest, most of the other people die gory deaths. The "baddies" die, and they are just evil and have no depth.
The reason why I said "stereotypical action movie, BUT it's set in a capsized boat!?!?!?", was because I was making a point that even though this movie trys to be innovative by using a different setting, the underlying plot has been used before. "But" was written in caps, I hate being obvious and putting </sarcasm> tags and assuming that the readers of this thread will be stupid.
This actor is hilarious, his voice is gruff and manly, ZOMG what a novel idea for an action hero.
Even though this movie is "unique in a way" it's the same easy to digest stuff that the public can watch without a brain.
