hmmm... i've got a problem playbacking this demo , when i push "start demo" i receive a cursor lag for about 1 or 2 seconds , and then nothing happens ..!

The question is, are the posts above ours just ironic, and if so what is the issue concerning the demo?

Try playing it via console, typing "playnetdemo name". Should help.

even though it's not working. I have no idea how to run it :/
I reinstalled q4 and nothing changes.
I've got about 1 gb of maps that were required in other demos but i think it is not the problem.

Any suggestions ?

I've downloaded this demo, and I had also that problem. First of all, try to copy the map wvwq4dm1 to your q4max folder (sometimes it helps). Then rename the demo file to (for example) "dem.netdemo" (i've renamed it firstly to "2gd.netdemo" but it didnt work, dunno why Oo). Then try again using console "playnetdemo", but before that, make sure that you have demo_enforceFS "1" (If still won't work, try with 0, or 2). It works 100%.

yeah, if you want to see weird shit happening, or having to load an addon map before playing a demo recorded on said addon map... :/
