look, i'm gonna say it now, slasher needs to gracefully step aside. he's incredibly biased and his play by play is horrible with "nice rail" making up the brunt of his repertoire.
not to mention he's a ridiculously huge fan boi. he's leaving out all the dark horses and people who _never_ stopped playing quake 3, like jibo. i dont like jibo at all. but, jibo, in my opinion is the man to beat.

ffs, i'd even take midway as the quake caster because the man is at least some what objective and talks about the deeper elements to the game.
his commentary before the game is OK. but in game he's basically just saying "nice rail" "nice rocket" etc.. its just boring. if i recall, wheat would comment on what certain people need to accomplish to win, why people are where they are, etc etc
Wow. Ok, so if anyone watched the czm vs jibo game you could hear the difference. Dkt, although he ate his words on occasion, would give some attempt at in depth analysis of what was happening. And all you get from slasher are these brainless interuptions "oooo nice rail" "nice rocket" "nice prediction /insert weapon here/"
the guy is a joke. if you're gonna broadcast one of the biggest q3 tournaments in recent histry, and claim to have an intimate and deep history with the American and Quake scene in general, you might as well read up and do some research on dueling.
