I'm ok with separated real name and gaming nick but it's true it feels wierd when both are encapsulated like this. It feels even wierder when the nick is made after the first name like Thierry "Titi" Henry. The wierd thing is both names are real life names and in most cases the gaming nick isn't what people call you in real life.

Overall it feels the same as when quake commentators wear a costume and a tie, it feels like someone want to act as if esports were the same as regular sports.

<name> '<callsign>' <surname> is the standard formula for these kinda things. Don't have a problem with it.

Its fine with me, I actualy like it more than having just nicks or some formats like name aka nick.

I really dont mind it. But have you seen gotfrag's gamesense system? In there they only have realnames, so you end up guessing who's who.... that sucks.

If you choose just RL names most people wont know who they are, if you just use ingame it looks un-professional. I think using both is the best mix, afterall boxers are introduced that way :D.
