afaik the rogues drop some items, you need five for reputation stuff, i guess its similar to timbermaw hold grinding, but I stopped WoW one year ago ;)

i've been watching that for a while now but it hasn't so far. i don't think it will happen in the future either. WoW's playerbase is just too much. just like how a newer game hasn't replaced CS in so long. that being said, i haven't played Entropia so i don't know if it's as much fun as WoW or not.

Well it is just as addictive ;) IMO WoW will die out sooner or later just like UO/EQ did. Those games were outgrown graphically, this generation of MMOs will get outgrown by much tighter link with reality of the upcoming ones.

Of course wow will die out sooner or later. Every single game ever created will die out sooner or later. But to say that entropia will beat wow is just silly.

Yeah, Second Life will but I find Entropia more fun, it kind of resembles poker you know.

Actually if Blizzard keep everything up I actually can't see it dieing anytime soon. Graphically it's safe, as it's got decent quality models/textures which is backed up by the fact it's cartoony (And very stylised).

It's big enough and popular enough now that when somebody comes a long and says "What MMO should I get" the majority of people will go "Get WoW it's the best/most popular/etc". It's similar with how CS got so big/hasn't really died off. It's "the" FPS MP game.

I agree with that, Blizzard is the best game developer out there and knows how to keep the playerbase satisfied (hi id!). However, WoW is a fantasy world and that limits its development possibilities. Sure, you can team up with your buddies and go kill some mobs but thats about it. A true metaverse which gives the player ability to create content instead of just consuming it is the future.

I don't think that will be the "next generation" though. Lets say WoW is the 3rd generation. I think what you are talking about would be 5/6.!
