A suggestion:

The 8800 GTS 320 MB is coming soon and it will be $100 cheaper, with almost the same performance as the 640 MB version. I think that one is a better deal.

(I had mentioned this in another thread before.)

At the UK WCGC Starcraft qualifiers, my toughest game was with one of the Korean referees who built approx. nothing but photon cannons. I beat him in about 10 minutes (can you say... mass Hydra?), but the worrying thing is, he beat everyone else in the competition, hands down...

You should try to watch a VOD of one of the pro-gamers playing SC. Then you get an idea of how much you have to flick around etc. It's a bit like if you only played Q3 online, but never followed another player in game, and never watched a demo. You'd have no idea how they actually move, but once you watch it, you can learn to imitate it.

The biggest improvement my Quake game ever had (from playing 1 on 1 with a friend) was when we watched the Romero vs. Killcreek demos that were on a magazine disc mid 1998. We didn't know that you could move that smoothly in the game...

Considering the speed of it, and it's aimed towards the future, being a quad core, I think it's worth it.

$851 wasn't, but $530 is imo. (not that I'm going to buy one myself though.)

Well, it was originally slated for a Tuesday (20th). It doesn't have to be in stores on a set date to make the charts or whatever, it just has to be uploaded to fileplanet.

Apparently there'll be 3 single player levels in the demo, not sure if that'll be one for each race or not. As you need to finish both GDI & NOD missions to access the aliens in the full game, it's unclear.

Electronic Arts announced that the upcoming demo for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars will contain one tutorial mission, two single-player missions featuring live action video sequences, one skirmish map with three different difficulty settings, and one trailer featuring Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, Michael Ironside. The release will be next week.
