Pickup game from the other night. Never hit so much in my life. 132 rails fired hit over 50%. Demo includes double rails, midair rockets and a quad run at the start of the demo :) Enjoy :)

hmm, for some reason I find it easier to bounce people with tankjr. Ive been playing with keel the last year or two and cant seem to him as many air rox as with tankjr, back in the day when i was even playing worse than today. Switched to tankjr and already I can feel the difference. m_filter 0 feels very weird tho, always played on 1, dunno what is best :|
your thoughts?

Definately 0. m_filter is mouse smoothing which is designed for ball mice. m_filter 1 just adds mouse lag.

After playing a bit, the lg feels better with smoothing, however rail and rl feel much more responsive to make those quick finer adjustments and more accurate bigger mouse movements. Dunno how much time it takes smoothing to kick in, or else i can just put it in my weapon vstr's.

Want to add something to that, old thread old post but if someone is looking into this.. like me:P

Compares 2 frames and adds a third that is middle value of the actual leap by mouse, interpolation.

This adds some lag, how great that lag is depends on the refresh(polling)rate of your mouse.

(you could kind of compare it with a fake high polling rate)

This should be set to 0, there is no need for it with todays technology.

that could be the case, but i do try a lot to bounce people. Maybe the keel model where you aim at its feet you have a bigger chance of hitting the side of the hitbox instead of the bottom part, even when the opponent makes a jump just be before the rocket lands. With tankjr aiming at its feet being a bigger model and all will maybe increase your chance of hitting the bottom of the hitbox than the side.
I dunno it could even just be a different mindset with using another model.

i don't know what you mean, since the hitboxes are the same and the only diffrence is that of perception?

Yes im getting at aiming for the model, not the hitboxes themselves. Tankjr being wider than keel will make you aim near the edges of the model if you want to get a rocket to its feet. With tankjr the model could even be outside of the hitbox while keel is more in the center if its hitbox, meaning you are more likely to shoot.
I understand what you are saying with the micro decision thing, but that did not chance to drastically when i started using tankjr instead of keel and vise versa.

they dont use sens 1, not even close. Though sensitivity is only 1 setting of lots that change mouse behavior. And you probably haven't ever seen CS, because i'm pretty sure it 360 degrees as well.
