Strafe-jumping adds a lot or depth to a game, and those who have been practicing on it for 11 years would probably resist giving it up strongly.
A lot of what people want Pro-Gaming to go big, hit television, and the like. For this to happen the community is going to need newcomers. Newcomers add population, and allow for a more universal experience, in watching your favorite gamers, and friends compete.

I mean, I can tell you, what the answers of 99% of the ppl here will be:
"Strafejumping rocks", "we dont care about newcomers" or just "wayne"
