The Grand Finals of the European Quake 3 CPMA CPM tournament. This tournament was held on Sunday and was open to 8 players, the finals featured LuGia and Pupz ( single elimination ).
Map 1 came off cpm3a and was LuGia's pick, map 2 was cpm22 pupz map pick, and map 3 was cpm24 , phrantic .. I've said too much.. enjoy

not impressed. any semi serious pro can shoot 40+ lg if they shot like LuGia does. Not spamming and rarely using lg in difficult situations. Most of the time it's shot when the guy is going in straight lines or right at him or in mid air. Bout avg as any other semi serious pro player with it when going back and forth.

So he uses the LG only in ideal situations. Sounds smart to me. Sounds like good positioning and weapon choice.

lg vs lg is not that hard either. getting 40 lg vs rl in cramped places is more impressive.

You're correct that he uses LG in optimal situations but his tracking is never the less freakish, short of someone like toxic whom I've never played, LuGia's LG tracking beats the pros I've played.

i've played both, and i must say toxic was more impressive. toxic got something like 63% or so vs me, and i played "serious". lugia is an aimbot, and toxic is ... godlike. can't remember how lugia used his lg vs me, but i remember toxic only used one weapon :P

This guy had 48+% shaft vs me on 2 maps in a vq3 tourney game. When I somehow beat him in one of the billion LG fights, he asked if I used a bot. :)

i struggle to get 25+ LG, so yeh, lugia is quite freakish.

its his consistency that is quite impressive, he always get high accuracies, not just if he has a good game.
