Always interesting to watch the first few demo's of a new game... in a few months the game will have completely changed

Yeah, also because they will probably make some balance changes in the upcoming patches. I hear a lot of whining about the Scrin, some say they are overpowered, others say they are completely useless :-)

well that sounds to me like they're perfectly balanced?! :p

It really depends what you are fighting. In the early game the scrin are very powerful, and can be too in the late game. But the mammoth tanks for the GDI are insanely powerful when upgraded, the common strategy is 'mass tanks.' Very akin to SC in about 2002 or so when the common strat was to mass tanks and get some anti air, expect for the fact that GDI mammoth tanks have anti-air built into them. Very uncool. Otherwise, a decent mixture of units on the Scrin side is pretty solid.

mammoth tanks are awefully expensive and build real slowl though!

Well with the ability to have multiple expansions and harvesters, using 2 war factories and cranking them out isn't too difficult given a short amount of time.

only two though? they get raped by infantry... :o

infantry as support, that is. Tanks are .. tanks. To take the beating and infantry has pretty good dmg for the buck but die easily... But this has to be looked into further. BBL! :p

Scrin seems very powerful at this point. things will change very soon, despite the eventual changes in the upcoming patch.

I would give it a shot, it is the best RTS you will play for a while.

well if you can run C&C Generals (which is easy these days) you'll be alrate with this one. Obviously with all the graphics toned down.

generals is almost as heavy to run as cnc3. It runs way better than what you'd expect. I have a 1.5year old system and I run it on "ULTRA HIGH" with 4 players np np

It even runs on MY crappy system decently enough, and I bet my crappy system beats your crappy system in terms of crappiness... (Geforce 4 Ti4200)

you just need the fast ram and sometimes the cpu.
