I saw this a few days ago.... these girls must have had an amazing time filming the show looking at the episode guide =) I think many people would watch this. For one, everybody likes to see pretty girls. Secondly, you can see heaps of different things to do all around the world! And yeah theres a bit of gaming involved :P I know i'll watch it, these girls are super nice and i'm really happy for their success =)

Nobody is watching this show for purposes of titillation or sexual stimulation and even if they were after they've spent 10 minutes knocking one out they're back to having zero interest in some girls taking up the place of what could be one of the best teams in the world for any gender :P

As an afterthought if that concept held true (the pretty girl doing something = more interesting to the mainstream one) then surely female sports would be more popular spectator-wise than male ones? If you want esports or any sports to be more than just something to do yourself, and something to be entertained by, you HAVE to create personalities and that is what a show like this does.

Think of it like this, Football is 90 minutes long, but you dont think Beckham is so popular just because of those 90 minutes? Its what he does off the pitch that makes him so wealthy, that is exactly what these girls have done, if you dont like, just watch the 90 minutes thats what I do. But somewhere, a lot of fucking people like what he does off the pitch, and the principle is the same in gaming.

David Beckham is an amazing athlete, but thats not why he has fans. Marketing is why he has fans, Marketing is why Chelsea's fanbase keeps growing even if they have no history. Playus is just marketing, you get the fans, you make the money. You gotta work out where your target audience is, MTV at 4PM in the afternoon right after the Cribs and right before, Made.
